Awesome Wii!,
I ordered the Wii and Wii fit for my 20 year old daughter for Christmas. Everyone has had a wonderful time with it and she is using it daily for exercise and weight loss along with eating right. Everyday she has lost a little more weight and is having fun with it. That is important.

Once we got the unit – Wii FIT – set up and running it was great.
But found the three different ‘manuals’ very intimidating and confusing….
Our grand-daughter had Wii Play set up and playing within an hour.
It took these “over 70′s” nearly three!
However, all’s well that ENDS well
– we’re hoping to get rid of a “wide end” and “round tummy”!
PS – We’ve just looked at some of the exercises —
perhaps they should be re-written for senior citizens who no longer can get down on the floor with any hope of getting back up without a call to the rescue squad. We’ll never do them! They were good for a ‘belly’ laugh though!

|Wish they were 5-8 Lb each,
I’m not super buff- but 2 Lbs is a little wimpy. Almost not even worth it. I bought these to use with EA active because the resistence band wasn’t giving me a good work out. Another con is that they are difficult to remove and replace the controller and nunchuck. It makes it annoying when you have to switch activites i nEA active. Overall the concept is good- I just wish they were heavier and easier to remove and replace the controllers.

|Design could have been better, but better than nothin!,
The wii controllers must be placed inside ‘tunnels’ in the dumbbells. This creates three small issues, which aren’t very bad but slightly annoying: a. the controller has a harder time communicating directly with the Wii because of said tunnel and the position you’d generally hold a dumbbell in isn’t directly straight forward, so you miss points/hits/whatever. and b. by holding the dumbbell you’re actually pressing buttons on the controller – the grip is removed so you’ve got direct palm to button pressure. and c. it’s hard to disconnect the nunchuck from the controller which is required for several other games which dumbbells would make a better workout for, so I end up popping the controller out disconnecting. well, it takes up valuable time.
nice idea though and I’ll continue to use them. the design could have been better.
